Manchester United is the luckiest team in England, Liverpool at the bottom
Manchester United was the team with the best luck in the Premier League season, while Liverpool was the least fortunate. The lucky index created for research at ESPN, Intel and the University of Bath, a specially designed model that handled a vast amount of information.
The survey shows that Manchester United (+0. 25) who finished second in last season would have finished six points less if luck was not for their benefit. He played a special role in winning over Swansea (August 19th) and Brighton (November 25th), and winning Liverpool (October 14th). The luck index shows that Liverpool (-0. 73) would have gained 12 points more and would have overtaken United and Tottenham.
The analysis is based on all the matches from
cricket live video stream of the past season. Of these, incidents that are related to luck or lack of one are subtracted into nine categories. A total of 157 incidents have been severed, with 20 of them the Premier League changing the decision of the judges after the duels. Here are the categories that have been reported:
- 17 incorrectly scored goals (ambush, attack offense)
- 5 incorrectly canceled goals (incorrect hand play)
- 8 wrongly judged and executed penalties
- 50 unsuccessful penalties to be judged
- 1 red card shown red
19 red cards not shown but should be judged 16 goals scored after the expiration of the referee
41 goals scored after the ricochet
After analyzing the data, the model showed that Stoke had to earn four more points, which would have left them in the Premier League and sent Huddersfield to Championship. Gary Cahill`s red card in Chelsea`s first season match against Burnley was the only one to be shown throughout the season.
